RYCT Dinghy Group member Sam King has become the first young sailor to win both the Sabot and Optimist dinghy championships, taking out the Opti title at Beauty Point last weekend.

He has added the two single-handed titles to a third overall in this season’s Sabot nationals in Melbourne and a seventh in the Optimist Australian championship on the Derwent in January.
