Tasmanian Sailing Academy and DSS/RYCT Dinghy Group sailors have returned triumphant from the NSW State Youth Championships last weekend with Angus Barton winning both the Laser Radial class and the intermediate single handed division. Angus sailed a convincing series to take the title with Zac Pullen finishing a credible 7th, Oisin Asmal 11th, Hugh Jones 13th, Nathan MacMillan 16th, Emma Barton 19th, Zac Pettard 22nd and Jack McCullum 4th in the sailboard division.

Our head coach Richard Scarr drove 7 lasers to Sydney on the trailer and has returned with two more boats on the roof, quite a few spare parts and a bad case of gastro :-(

His winter training program is certainly paying dividends and we look forward to maintiaing our profile at the upcoming SIRS and Sail Melbourne regattas before Christmas.
