Zac Starts His Sailing Down Under Campaign With Strong Finish in Brissie!

Dinghy Groups Zac Pullen is contesting all of the Sail Down Under series this season.  He started in Brisbane and is then heading to Sydney and then Melbourne prior to the Nationals in Adelaide at the end of the year.

He started this campaig with a very strong finish in Brisbane with a 10th overall from the field of 33 Radial and a 5th Youth Male. This included bending his bottom section on the last day - his dad will be pleased when Zac returns it to the charter company!!

Those that know Zac know that he is a very committed and determined sailor that is just getting better and better with experience.  I am confident that he will continue to perform stronger over the coming regattas and will be at his peak ready for the Nationals in Adelaide.

Tasmanians also sailing at the Sail Brisbane regatta are SBSC's Lucy Shepherd and RYCT's Amelia Catt in the 420.  The girls have also done exceptionally well coming 4th overall and being the runners up in the Youth females.  Another great effort from the girls and again we look forward to seeing them being very competitive at the other events leading up to their Nationals also in Adelaide.
